Project Overview
Hamro Bazar is a production multi-vendor marketplace serving three audiences at once: customers who browse, wishlist, and check out with cash on delivery; vendors (seller panel) who register stores, manage products, and track orders and earnings; and admins who approve vendors, manage catalog, orders, and commission. It runs on plain PHP with mysqli and MySQL — no framework, no build step — with a Tailwind CSS storefront and Bootstrap 5.3 seller and admin panels, backed by a 14-table schema and a PHPUnit-tested helper layer.

The Challenge
A single-seller shop is simple; a bazaar is not. Every product belongs to a vendor with their own stock, pricing, and payouts, while customers expect one seamless cart, one checkout, and one order history. The platform had to keep sellers independent yet accountable — onboarding, approvals, suspensions, commission — without slowing shoppers down or letting guest carts, wishlists, and COD orders fall through the cracks.
Our Solution
We architected a lean three-role system on plain PHP and MySQL: a fast Tailwind storefront (index.php entry, category strips, featured and new-arrival grids), a dedicated seller panel for products, orders, and earnings, and a Bootstrap admin for vendor approvals, catalog, orders, and commission. Dual cart/wishlist storage (database for members, session for guests), status-gated auth, and CSRF-protected forms keep the marketplace safe and self-manageable.
